James William Hall (1888–1959)

James William was born on 28 Aug, 1888 in Ashington, Bothal Demesnea1,b1, the youngest son of John Hall (1846–1902)★, a coal miner, and Elizabeth Emma Carr (1849–1907)★. He is Ian's great grandfather.

He married Dinah Peak (1888–1959)★ on 30 May, 1908 at The Register Office in Tynemoutha2 and went on to have six children with her.

In the 1921 census he was living at 297 Scotswood Roade1 with his wife Dinah and six children Florence, Norman, Elizabeth, Margaret, Lilian Emma and James William.

James was recorded in the 1939 census at 2 Rye Hill Terrace, Newcastle upon Tyneb1.

James died at the age of seventy on 22 Feb, 1959 at Benham Hospital, Gatesheada10 He was survived by his wife Dinah, a cook, school sanatorum.
