Transcription

This is the last Will and Testament of me William Edward Blackbrough of no 42 Caroline Street, Commercial Road, Stepney in the County of Middlesex, Shipwright hereby divide [---] and bequeath all and every my household furniture [---] and wearing apparel unto John Bain of no 2 Union Place, King Street, Poplar, Ship Joiner and Charles Thomas Evans of no 3 Jubilee Place, Commercial Road, Stepney, Merchants Clerk to divide among my children viz Mrs Elizabeth Brain Evans, Frances Ann Blackbrough, Caroline Jannet, Jemima, Philip, Charles and [Jessie] in equal shares and proportions and I likewise give divide and bequeath all [m---] my freehold house situate at no 42 Caroline Street, Commercial Road, Stepney in the County of Middlesex unto the aforesaid John Bain and Charles Thomas Evans to sell by public auction or private route all within three months after my decease the proceeds of the said sale to be divided among my seven children as aforesaid in equal shares and proportions within four months from the date of my decease. The [receipt] of my aforesaid John Bain and Charles Thomas Evans for the purchase money of the said house to be a good and sufficient owtlay thereof and I do hereby nominate [r----ate] and appoint the said John Bain of no 2 Union Place, King Street, Poplar and Charles Thomas Evans of no 3 Jubilee Place, Commercial Road, Stepney executors of this my will and hereby revoking all former other wills by me at any time heretofore made do declare this to be my last will and testament. In witness whereof I the said William Edward Blackbrough have to this my last Will and Testament [r-------ved] and set my hand the tenth day of January in the the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty five. Wm Edward Blackbrough signed by the testator William Edward Blackbrough in the presence of us present at the same time who have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses in the presence of the said testator and of each other Francis Wright, no 5 Jamaica Street, Stepney, James Hutson no 14 [Randall Street] Limehouse, William James Giller no 6 Caroline Street, Ratcliff. Proved at London the 14th August 1845 before the worshipful John Lanbury Doctor of Laws and Surrogate by the oaths of John Bain and Charles Thomas Evans the executors to whom Admon was granted having been first sworn duly to Administer.
