Transcription

The Governor reports that Richard Hinksman and John Adams boys in the House absconded therefrom on Monday Afternoon and did not return till the following Wednesday. They were called before the Board and Governor was directed to put Hinksman in the cells for 12 hours on Thursday and Saturday and on the latter day to see him flogged by the Schoolmaster and to put Adams in the cells for 12 hours on Thursday and both on bread and water.
